Solid Waste

The town contracts with Republic Services to pick up solid waste from residential customers on Tuesday.  The present fee for solid waste pick-up and disposal is $15.00 per month, per can. This fee will appear on your water utility bill, and is collected by the City of Hickory.

Please note that Catawba can only pick up the number of roll out cans for which you pay.  If you need an additional can, please contact Town Hall, and we will provide you with one.

The Town also contracts with Republic to provide recycling and commercial solid waste pick-up services to Catawba residents.  Please contact the Public Works Department for more information.

The Public Works Department also provides limited leaf, limb, and white goods pick-up.  Please call Town Hall to schedule a pick-up, at 828-241-2215.
