Catawba Town Council
Welcome to the Town of Catawba home page. We hope this site will provide citizens with information about their Town government and visitors access to information about the Town.
Catawba is a small Town in the heart of the beautiful Catawba Valley in the Western Piedmont of North Carolina. It is one of only two municipalities in Catawba County that borders the Catawba River. Catawba is approximately twenty minutes from Hickory, one hour from Charlotte, and just over one and a half hours from the mountains.
The Town offers something for everyone. Whether you would enjoy a nice picnic in the park, boating on the Catawba River, a cool glass of lemonade on a hot summer day, or a delicious southern-style meal, this town is for you! Catawba is also the home of Bobby Issac, NASCAR's 1970 Grand National Series Champion and 2016 NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductee.
Catawba certainly has small town charm. If you are thinking about visiting, we encourage you to experience all that Catawba has to offer!
